आश्रय

वर्तमान समय में जहां आंतरिक शांति की खोज में हम सभी एक-एक क्षण में शान्ति सहेजने का प्रयास करते हैं, वहां एक प्राचीन अवधारणा एक स्थायित्व प्रदान करती हैः आश्रय - अर्थात आत्मा की दिव्य निवास । क्या है यह आश्रय ? साधारण शब्दों में, कल्पना करें कि आप अत्यंत परेशानी में है, किन्तु किसी ऐसे व्यक्ति से बात करते हैं जिससे चर्चा कर के आपकी चिंता दूर हो जाती है। जहां सब कुछ स्थिर प्रतीत होता है और आप जीवन की अराजकता में शांति महसूस करते हैं यही आश्रय का मूल भाव है। ऐसा भाव जो भौतिक दीवारों से बंधा नहीं है नहीं है बल्कि हमारी चेतना की गहराई के भीतर पाया जाता है। वेदों और उपनिषदों की परंपराओं में निहित, आश्रय आंतरिक शांति के कालातीत खोज का प्रतीक है जो किसी भी अन्य कारक पर निर्भर नहीं है और दिव्य (आत्म संतुष्टि) के द्वार खोलता है।   भगवद्गीता में आश्रय के बारे में चर्चा इस प्रकार की गयी हैः सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज ।  अहं त्वा सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा शुचः ।। अर्थात, सब धर्मों का परित्याग करके तुम एक मेरी ही शरण में आओ, मैं तुम्हें समस्त पापों से मुक्त कर दूँगा, तुम शोक...
